The Dorado is a specialist kayak designed for fishing, spear-fishing or snorkeling. It is a sit on top configuration with a deep seat that reeks comfort and gives the paddlers a lower wind-age profile as well as providing freedom of movement.
The Dorado is fitted as standard with all rigging required for fishing - it has a large fish box, load bay accommodating a plastic crate, fishing rod holders and anchor attachment lines.
The hull has safety features built in as with all Kaskazi Kayaks, the hull has seperate compartments and with the Dorado this consists of Fish Box, main hull and rear compartment which is bulkheaded off. The fish box is completely isolated from the internal hull, you can use
the separate water tight bulkhead just behind the crate area to store your overnight gear and any items that are not required for immediate access.
The Dorado's volume provides exceptional load carrying capacity and stability and it is long enough to provide a good turn of speed, the Dorado can be made from fibre glass/resin or epoxy/carbon for a stiffer lighter faster ride, paddle further with ease!
